MISSION STATEMENT:

The communities of the St. Mary Parish System are dedicated to educational excellence.  With this support, the school system will empower students to become academically, culturally, and technologically advanced.  Each student wil be prepared to function as a responsible, productive, and caring citizen.  Through this shared responsibility quality of life within the community will be enhanced.  The school nurse is to identify, prevent, remove, and minimize or manage barriers to educating the child.

Technology

Every school is equipped with the latest in computer technology. Every school is interconnected and has high speed data and Internet access. Dedicated Computer Technology classes are offered starting in the seventh grade. Starting in kindergarten students begin to be introduced to technology in a myriad of ways which are age and intellect appropriate.

Tops Program

LOUISIANA'S TUITION OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS (TOPS)

The State of Louisiana has established a scholarship fund, which will pay for college or vocational school tuition for any graduate resident who satisfies the following criteria:

1. 16.5 units in the core courses
2. ACT score of at least 20
3. Grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher
4. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
